Pūtīputi, the Māori word for flower, is a celebration of nature's colour and the joy that blooms in everyday life.
Original Materials Used: Watercolour, marker and ink on paper. Framed Wooden Print with a semi-glossy print.
*These wooden frames are ready to hang, simple profile frame, in white, black, dark wood and natural wood. We use plexiglass (acrylic) rather than pane glass for safe travels. The art doesn't come with a matte board inside the frame, the white border is where the printed image ends on the paper.

Semi-Glossy Prints
Our premium semi-glossy paper enhances colors with a subtle shine and protects against fading from light or moisture:
- Paper Finishing: Semi-glossy, enhances colors with a subtle shine.
- Paper Weight: 200 gsm (80 lb), thickness: 0.22 mm (8.7 mils).
- Sustainable Paper: FSC-certified or equivalent paper for sustainability.
Wooden Framed Prints
Our ready-to-hang premium wooden frames, crafted from responsibly sourced oak or ash, feature unique wood grains for added character. The posters are printed on master's edition, museum-quality paper—off-white, uncoated, and ideal for those seeking world-class quality:
- Ready-to-hang: Includes hanging kit, ready to hang directly on the wall.
- Frame Material: Responsibly sourced oak and ash wood.
- Frame Measurements: 20mm (0.79") thick and wide, wider than the classic 14mm (0.55") frame.
- Paper Weight: 250 gsm (110 lb), thickness: 0.29 mm (11.4 mils), ideal for fine art.
- Paper Finishing: Matte, uncoated, natural white, archival museum-quality paper.
- Protection: Shatterproof plexiglass protects the poster.

The prints are placed within frames upon arrival. The frames come pre-packed with corners and wrap and then packed in a box with strong edges to protect the frames. I-beams are used in addition, to give the package additional sturdiness and for multi-item orders (max 3 frames in one package).

How do I make an order?
Just click on the product or collection of your choice, click the 'ADD TO CART' button to add it to your cart and this will show up in the right hand corner of the website.
- Click 'checkout' to start the process of payment selection.
- You can now leave special instructions or change the quantity you need.
- Next click 'CHECKOUT' to be taken to the payment page.
- Choose a Shipping option & enter any discount codes or gift cards.
- Finally Choose a Payment Option then push "Complete Order." You will be notified via email with an attached pdf receipt.
How do I pay for my order? Is it safe to use my credit card?
When you checkout you are directed to Shopify secure payment gateway where you can enter your credit card or payment details safely.
What payment options do you offer?
Steph Northey Art accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:
• All major credit cards, as shown at checkout including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
• Apple Pay, Google Pay, Union Pay & Shop Pay
Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.
How much is shipping?
We offer FREE Worldwide Shipping for all orders.
Do you accept returns?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at kiaora@stephnortheyart.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our NZ Address, which will be provided once your return has been accepted.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties. Remember: We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and obtain and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive with us.

New Zealand Delivery

Delivery Times
Items are processed by Steph Northey Art usually within 24 hours of purchase.
Order Processing cut-off time is 4pm NZST, Monday-Saturday.
Handling (time from warehouse to courier) can take a few additional days but most items are shipped within 3 business days.
Orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders should arrive within 7 to 10 business days after processing is complete, via DHL / UPS / FedEx / TNT or EMS. Some countries will take longer depending on the available shipping service. If you received your order a shipping update within 14 days please contact us.
You will receive notification of any delay or cancellation of your order via email.
Once you purchase your items, you will receive a confirmation page which has a section to track your order via SHOP App. Scan the QR code with your phone and Shop will send you real-time delivery updates via email, once your order is shipped.
P.O. Boxes
We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. If a P.O. Box address is given by mistake we will contact you and this may cause a delay with the delivery of your package.
Payment Options
On checkout you can either opt to pay by Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover. Or Diners Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay & PayPal. Credit Card transactions are processed immediately and in most cases your order will be shipped on the same, or next working day. If you have any other questions please contact us.
Canceled Orders
An order may be canceled before it leaves the warehouse, however once your order ships out, we cannot refund your order under any circumstances. Please check our returns policy here.
